We’ve had issues with our internet service cutting out periodically in the last few months. It’s been a big headache for Hubby, too. Not just because it interrupts his gaming, but also due to being the one dealing with our provider. Oh, for the most part they’re decent to him. Try to help. But the inconvenience is still just that…an inconvenience.
I’m really not having the energy of going in to all the little details about it. So as long as it gets fixed (and doesn’t cost us a small fortune to do so).
There for a while today I thought I was going to have a different title for this entry. Something along the lines of “we interrupt your internet service…“ Or even if I’d be able to post at all.
Anyway, I’m tired. Need a shower. Long day at work. A little stressful at the end; a dog came in with a contorted stomach, and when I left they weren’t sure it was going to survive the night. Made me come home and hug all my kitties.
One of my biggest fears for my dog is that he’ll get bloat. I want to save up the $5,000 or so it would take for an operation if that ever happened. Since he is deep-chested, it’s more likely than it would be for some others. But I try to feed him all types of things now so that his stomach will never be like “woah what the heck is that? I’m gonna contort now..” My mom’s first boyfriend had a dog who had that, and he called the vet when it started but the vet didn’t know what it was and said “it’ll be fine, just come in tomorrow” but it really wasn’t. I really wish there was more education about it to protect people and their loving companions in this life.
Also sorry to hear about your Internet provider. I hope it gets better soon! You could always make some type of reward for when it gets messed up..like, “When the Internet is too much of a jerk for one day, we get to order pizza!” or something like that
I wasn’t aware of the condition myself until last night. Two of the vets were working quite dilligently over the dog when I was leaving; the head vet (my boss) is a very compassionate man when it comes to animals. And he likes to make sure that his clients are well informed. More vets should be like him.
Definitely
